Have you been dismissed in Oviedo? First thing: Don’t sign «In Agreement»
It’s the oldest trick in the employment market. The company puts a bunch of papers in front of you (dismissal letter, settlement, liquidation) and pressures you to sign quickly.
My advice as an expert dismissal attorney:
- Always sign as «NOT IN AGREEMENT»: Write it clearly next to your signature.
- Add the actual date: Sometimes they put earlier dates so your deadline expires. Put today’s date.
- Take a photo: Keep a copy of everything you sign.

Types of Dismissal we handle at the law firm
Companies in Oviedo usually try to «slip in» cheap dismissals. My job is to reclassify that dismissal to increase your compensation.
Objective Dismissal.
The company claims they «have losses» or «organizational causes».
- The reality: Often those causes don’t exist or aren’t documented properly. If we prove it, it becomes wrongful dismissal.
Disciplinary Dismissal
They accuse you of arriving late, poor performance or disobedience. It’s their favorite way to dismiss «for free».

How the claim process works in Oviedo (SMAC and Courts)

- Note: If you have seniority prior to February 2012, that period is paid at 45 days per year (max. 42 monthly payments). This significantly increases the amount!
